You will visit the Giant Tortoises that gave the islands their name and explore lava tubes that explain the volcanic origin of the archipelago. The itinerary includes a visit to Floreana Island, the first island inhabited by humans, known for its complex history involving early settlers, pirates and abandoned colonies.
Accommodation is in the most populated town in the islands, allowing visitors to understand how modern Galapagos communities live today.
