We only spent one day with Eddie Meneses, but hands-down he was the best guide we had during our trip to Ecuador. We booked a last-minute cloud-forest and waterfall hike and it was our luck that Eddie was available. He met us that morning before we departed to let us know what type of gear and clothes we should bring as well as what to expect along the hike. He was so knowledgeable about… well everything. The flora, the fauna, the culture, the landscape! He was so personable and accommodating – and his English was impeccable. He is also quite the photographer, graciously taking and sharing pictures with us after our trip. If we had another day, then we would have happily booked a day trip in and around Guayaquil with him. It would most assuredly have been a fun and educational experience. If we ever return to Ecuador, then we’ll definitely look him up…as should you if you’re planning a trip to that region.

Here we will enjoy together an awesome walk through a canyon in the middle of the cloud forest in which the only sounds we hear are those of nature and bathe in several waterfalls,
We will experience exuberance of the flora and fauna of the cloud forest.
Feel the strengh of the biggest waterfall in the area: (270 ft high).
Canyoning down a 90ft. high waterfall is available here too, but it has to be requestetd in advance.
After that, we´ll visit a cacao farm where we´ll learn IN DETAIL how chocolate is produced, from harvesting and sampling the fresh fruit, to the process of fermentation, drying, roasting, grinding and refinement into chocolate.
As we walk through the farm we´ll also sample several tropical fruits harvested by ourselves.
A traditional ecuadorian lunch is included in this adventure too.
In this trip we are going to focus on what you like to do the most so that you have a truly memorable experience.
The car is available exclusively for you and your group.
